Exciting News! I have recently been asked to present my wedding photography and business skills to photographers based in and around Tallinn, Estonia at the end of May. Nikon Europe are sponsoring the event, which will also involve a print competition that will be judged by myself, Steve Tarling and Denis Orchard, who are also very talented and respected wedding photographers from the UK. The prize fund for the competition is said to include a Nikon D3S. It is expected that over 100 talented wedding and portrait photographers will be attending from Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.

I am popular in Essex at the moment! This months cover shot was taken of my sister at her wedding back in April, and both she and I was delighted that Lisa, the Editor of the magazine, chose it for the cover. The July issue also features a wedding I shot at Spains Hall last year - Colin and Carla on 13th September.

Hi everyone. Well I have not posted for a while because I am been on an amazing holiday with Kirsty, my brother and his wife and my dear mother! The reason for going together was that my sister got married on 5th April in Australia to a great guy called Lewis. My sister now lives in the beautiful city of Perth, Western Australia.

I will be posting a preview of wedding photographs (as the official photographer!) and also some great images of our travels!

WOW what a party Jenny had on Saturday night. The West Wing at Ickworth House along with many other professionals pulled out all the stops for an amazing Birthday celebration for Jenny. After a champagne reception came dinner followed by singing waiters and a fantastic Beatles tribute act. The party continued to the early hours and everyone had a great time.

Saturday night was a blast at Theresa's party. The theme was Gangsters and Moles and everyone made such an effort to look the part. I am sure that Theresa had a fantastic time, as you can tell by the pictures...there was lots of drinking, eating and dancing. I have made a little slideshow of my favourite images for you to have a sneaky peak at, and we will put all the pictures on the website as soon as Theresa and Chris have seen them all after their holiday.

Amazing News!

There was recently a competition held by the MPA (Master Photographers Association) and You and Your Wedding magazine to obtain the best most eye-catching image for the front cover of their annual professional wedding photography supplement.

I am delighted to have won such a fantastic opportunity. There was lots of entries, by many of the leading wedding photographers in the country. To have work featured within publications like this is prestigious, but to have the front cover is for most photographers, unheard of!

As soon as I get the copy of the magazine, I will post on the site....

Last year, I was asked to give a talk at the biggest annual photographers convention in Europe. The five day event in January 2007 was in Hammersmith, London. Obviously I was delighted to have been asked, and am very proud to be associated with such a major event on the industry’s calendar.

My seminar was a great success and we had a packed room, with lots of positive feedback....
