Jon and Liz were students at Cambridge University some years ago with Liz studying at Jesus College and Jon at Magdalene which is a beautiful college set right on the River Cam in the heart of the City. I met up with the boys at College quite early and got all their shots in the bag before 10.45am - impressive for a 12.30pm service. Although Liz was a little delayed we still managed to “get her to the church on time”. The ceremony was fantastic with friends singing in the choir that was also conducted by Jon’s father. A choir in a college chapel really does sound amazing - I have heard a few and it still makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up! After the ceremony the guests played croquet on the lawn while we did some lovely pictures of the happy couple. Enjoy the preview....

I am glad to say that lots of my couples have been so lucky with the weather this year, considering just how unpredictable it has been. The sun shone all day for Hannah and Stephen. The wedding was at St Peter’s Church in Moulton, a church I am now very familiar with especially as I photographed Hannah’s brothers wedding there some 7 years ago. After a lovely ceremony we went back to the Jockey Club in Newmarket, a very prestigious wedding venue in Suffolk for some photos in a spectacular setting...Enjoy the preview.

After meeting up with the boys in Bar Hill I went on to Over to photograph Claire getting ready. I had some amazing light to use as well as some fab props like the big gold mirror in the bedroom. I arrived at Longstowe Hall with plenty of time to spare, especially as Claire and her Dad were 20 minutes late - wonder what was going through Niki’s mind!? Anyway the ceremony went without a hitch and the weather was just perfect. Blue skies with the occasional cloud and not a whisper of any wind...enjoy the preview...

Suzie’s preparations took place at her parents house in Meldreth and Jonathan’s at Sheene Mill in Melbourn. I started off with the boys who were very organised and on time, which was a pleasant surprise! The ceremony was at a wonderful Cambridge wedding venue Longstowe Hall which is a private house set in the most gorgeous grounds. I love working at this venue. After the civil service there was also a jewish ceremony that took place under the Hooper outside. I got a fantastic shot across the lake when a swan flew into the picture and landed with its wings out stretched - just perfect timing! Enjoy the preview.
